Dr Massaro and all of their staff couldn’t be nicer. As I entered the office the person behind the desk instantly introduced herself. Impressive!!  I was invited back to the exam room. Everything was clean and bright! The technician taking x-rays was very pleasant and upbeat.  I then met Dr Massaro who was very informative, pleasant, and taught me things I’d never known before. Dr Massaro is amazing! She was concerned about my narrow palate and how it affected my breathing, tongue posture, TMJ, etc. She encouraged me to consider an expansion and while I went through the steps to consider it, I kept putting it off. Honestly, it felt daunting. Every 6 months at my appointment, Dr Massaro gently asked if I was still considering it. She would talk through my concerns and hesitations and always respected where I was but still quietly encouraged me to do it. Almost 3 years later, I finally did it and I have absolutely no regrets. My breathing almost instantly improved, my jaw is no longer in pain, my tongue and cheeks are no longer constantly being chewed on, my tongue has space in my mouth. It’s possible I no longer snore, but I’d have to check that! Ha! Dr. Massaro truly cares and is concerned about more than your pearly whites, and I’m so appreciative for her. By the way I’m 37, had braces as a child, but no dentist or orthodontist ever mentioned their concerns about my narrow palate and how it affected my overall wellbeing.
